Background
Achilles was born in Rome, Italy, alongside his twin brother Leonardo. He and his brother used to be very close, but they grew separate due to an incident in their pre-teens.
They eventually stopped talking after Achilles got into the Chesapeake Agency, which is something that Leo was desparately trying to achieve. After arriving at the Agency,
he met Kai, and the two have a past neither of them are willing to speak about. Achilles is now the mentor of Squad-271.
True Backstory (Spoilers)
Achilles was born in Rome, Italy, the twin brother of Leonardo Fanti. The two grew up fairly well and very close. Achilles received an excess of Purity when he was very young due to being in contact with a Gem when visiting the Coliseum as a child, but no one was aware of this fact. Neither of them traveled outside of Rome, up until their 14th birthday, where the two of them decided to travel on their own to a nearby city. Everything was going well up until the point where Leo pushed Achilles a little too hard, with him hitting his head up against a tree, killing him instantly. Violet, who was traveling nearby due to scouting for a new lab, found the two of them. He realized that Achilles was dead, and, realizing that Achilles had an abnormal amount of Purity, pretended to “save” him. In reality, Achilles was simply Purity Revived, but both Achilles and Leo bought it. Achilles decided to dedicate himself to Violet due to being “saved”, which Leo hated. Achilles and Violet struck a deal together, which Leo vowed to keep secret due to being scared of Violet. After returning home, the two barely talked, a hidden resentment between them. They joined the Rome Agency when they were 16 years old, with Achilles still in touch with Violet. Nothing major happened between them up until their 20th birthdays, where Achilles announced that he was eligible to transfer to the Chesapeake Agency (with him not mentioning that it was because of Violet). Leo resented him even more for this, with the two of them not even talking to each other after Achilles moved. Shortly after moving to Chesapeake, Achilles met Kai Coulsins, and the two started dating almost immediately. Due to his deal with Violet, Achilles had to live in New York City every summer in order to deal “Sin”, a drug made out of Purity. He was able to get an apartment. A few years into dealing Sin, however, Achilles started to realize how bad Violet was, with Achilles then only working with him due to the deal from then on.
Personality
Achilles is a very upbeat, suave man that is hiding a rougher interior. He portrays himself as a great leader, but he is secretly a neurotic man hiding his true motives. Many
people in the Agency don't like him due to his fake persona.
