Review

I'm going to be brutally honest... I don't know why people hype this game up that much. It's a really good game, but it's not really the pinnacle of gaming that people like to yell about. The combat's really fun and snappy, and the boss fights are really fun, but... if I wanted to play a hack-and-slash I would play DMC. Plus, a lot of the extra weapons you get throughout the story don't really flow into the gameplay, since enemies will attack you quickly enough that you won't have time to react. I also don't really like Raiden in this game -- he's essentially a totally different character from MGS2 Raiden. For a hack-and-slash, the game's really good. But it's not really a game I would recommend compared to something like Devil May Cry.
