Review

Kingdom Hearts has one of the best combat systems ever. No joke. I don't think I've played another game where the combat flows as well into the movement, save Devil May Cry. The Drive forms introduced in this game is seriously a game-changer. It makes the combat SO much more in-depth than KH1. Floating around in Final Form is so satisfying. The beginning of the game, the 3 hour long opening with Roxas, is also some of the best work in the series. I don't think a video game opening has had as much impact as that opening. I honestly really like the Disney worlds in this game. Having less platforming is nice, especially since the platforming in KH1 is one of the worst parts of the game (cough cough Wonderland). Beating the Sephiroth fight is also another great memory of mine -- I beat him at level 60 after about 20 tries, which I was really proud of. I'm almost at 100% on my save... it's the damn Coliseum that's holding me back. Eventually... KH2 is 100% a game everyone needs to play. Even though the story isn't the GREATEST, the gameplay makes up for it tenfold.
