Review

Donnie Darko!!!! I loved Donnie Darko. I love stuff that is really ambiguous with its storytelling, so Donnie Darko was really fun for me to watch. I loved Donnie, he's honestly such a great character. The fact that his family actually cared and loved him, despite his issues, was really refreshing since it could've been so easy for it to be the opposite. He's such a sweet character deep down. It's so depressing that he sacrificed himself for everyone else and died alone, despite that being something that he was afraid of. The analogies/metaphors that come from that are really well done, and is one of my favorite aspects of the movie. I think this movie is going to hold a special place in my heart.
