Absolutely insane album to release at 18 as your debut album. While I prefer When the Pawn..., this album is just full of emotion in the songs. The slow piano and her voice is somehow calming despite how sad the songs are. It's incredible how she only got better from here. If this was her only album, she would still be a pop legend. Her lyricism, while not as angry as her future work, has some of her heaviest work. Absolutely incredible album, it's a must listen.
