MY FAVORITE CAR SEAT HEADREST ALBUM!!! And it has my favorite CSH song (Cosmic Hero!! (Vincent is close behind that)). While Twin Fantasy moves me more, this album has an energy to it that I love. The album is such a "coming-of-age" album that is reflected so well in both the lyrics and the sound. It also really well defines CSH's music style. If you listen to this album at the right time of your life, alongside Twin Fantasy, it WILL become a formative album. I think for anyone getting into indie rock, this is an album you have to listen to. CSH has such this unique sound that I've never really heard replicated elsewhere. It's such a raw sound that somehow evokes teenage and young adult angst when you are going through a weird period in your life. 100% give it a listen, it's one of my favorite albums.
