Nevermind was probably the Nirvana album I grew up listening to the most of, next to In Utero. Despite the fact that I think it's their best album, I prefer Incesticide/In Utero's tones. I think a lot of Nevermind is just a bit TOO clean-sounding for me, but aside from that it's an amazing album. I have such a soft spot for Lithium and In Bloom -- they were two of my favorite songs growing up, Lithium especially. I wish some of the other songs off of Nevermind were played some more, like Territorial Pissings. That's my favorite song off the album. I honestly don't have much to say about the album since it's something that I grew up with and is basically just a part of me now. Like, I don't really have the words to describe a lot of the album just because it feels like it's just natural to me. It's definitely something to listen to at some point of your life. Honestly, if you want to hear more of Nirvana's general tone, listen to In Utero or Incesticide. But this is a defining album for pretty much all of 90s music.
