Review

I LOVE Nine Inch Nails, they're one of my favorite bands. Despite that I put neutral for a lot of songs off this album just because I love it as an experimental album and what it stands for, but I only listen to about half the album on its own. That being said the songs I have labeled as my favorites are some of my favorite songs EVER. I grew up listening to March of the Pigs, and it remains one of my favorite songs ever. The experimental aspect of the album is something that I find so cool. It's an album that is considered fairly mainstream (at least for an industrial album), but it has such a harsh vibe to it that it isn't really "mainstream". The meaning behind the album comes across so well through the music that it evokes such a reaction just by listening to it, something that I don't think I've ever experienced listening to another album. It's one that I've listened to a handful of times, but I can't really just put on for a listen-through without being in a specific mood. Probably one of the most interesting albums that has such a grungy vibe that I haven't really seen replicated elsewhere.
